Super strong and ideal for beginners, the Catbells aluminium trail running poles are adjustable height and feature our new streamlined design and lightening fast deployment system. Great for trail runners and hikers alike, they offer heights ranging from 110 - 125cm whilst remaining compact, collapsing down to just 35cms for easy storage when not in use.

These Catbells poles are ideal as an introduction pole if you haven't used them before and want to see what all the fuss is about! They are a great budget option compared to carbon which is lighter but higher in price.

An adjustable pole will help you to get a feel for which height is best for you. Also to share them with a spouse or trail buddy if you want to!

Another benefit is that aluminium is super strong, so if you are a little 'heavy handed', will be using them on particularly rugged terrain or using them to take a bit more weight, for example coming back from an injury.

With a lightweight and sleek pole design, each pole weighs an impressive 235 grams, up to 13% less than leading competitors.

For every set of poles you get - 2 poles with integrated mud baskets, a water resistant protective carry case and a set of durable rubber tech tips for hard surfaces.

These poles are made from 100% premium 7075 aluminium. This makes them super strong and durable.

The handles are custom moulded, ultralight, smooth EVA with a slim, ergonomic design meaning they won't rub your hands like other brands.

We would recommend the following heights to enable a comfortable 45 degree plant and use on uphills.

Pole Height (cm) Your Height (cm)
    110 165
    115 170
    120 175
    125 180

If you want to be super accurate before purchasing, stand with a broom stick parallel to your legs, elbows slightly bigger than 90 degree angle. Measure from the ground to the top of your hand, then add 5cm (to allow for handle excess) and that is the height to order.
